Ok so I'm sure you are wondering why I chose this title for my blog today. Well I was cleaning this afternoon and started wondering why it seems no matter how much you dust something the little boogers always come back not even an hour later. That really irritates me. I see it mostly on my mini blinds. I dust them, but to look at them you would think they haven't seen a dust rag in years. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to clean your blinds without having to take them down???
This week has been busy especially the last half. On Wednesday I sat with Uncle Doyle. He is doing so well. He gets around with his walker and has been going outside with his Physical Therapist. They said he is doing so well that they will only be coming to visit him for 3 weeks!!!I know he is excited. He's a little antsy sitting in the house. He had quite a few visitors while I was there and other than that we watched t.v. and took a nap. We also got a great thunderstorm. It actually wasn't that great but the sky got very dark.
On Thursday I took my Ganny to the urologist because they thought she had a kidney stone. Well they couldn't find one but they sent her to have a CT scan to find out what actually is going on. So we had to waste some time. We went to Ben Franklin, The Dollar Store and Ukrop's. We also checked the new Whole Foods Store they built in Short Pump. Its nice!!!!Their bakery is so lovely and I wanted one of everything. They also had a seafood bar set up and all sorts of different things that looked really good. For some reason I thought they would sell cloth diapers since they sell alot of organic stuff....No cloth diapers but they did have flushable diaper. Not too sure how safe that is for your septic system. After that Ganny went to have her CT scan and the hospital just happened to be having a book fair!!!!!Yep....Hope went to the book fair and just browsed. I saw a few books but decided I'll wait on those. I have loved book fairs since I was in Kindergarten. I remember getting the Weekly Reader books and they would send a form home from school once a month with books you could order.Well by time I got home from school I had filled out the form and made marks by all the books I wanted. I still have some of those books for when I have kids one day. Books have always been apart of my life. I remember being in 5th/6th grade and going to B. Dalton Bookstore and getting the Sweet Valley High series of books. From there I moved on to other teen books and then in High School started reading Patricia Cornwell books. Speaking of PC....I heard Angelina Jolie had just signed on to do a series of movies for those Scarpetta books!!!
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of this wonderful weekend. It's supposed to be in the 80's here:)
