Cleaning and Wally World

The next few days are going to busy so I got up this morning and did some laundry and cleaned the house. I'll be in and out all weekend so I wanted to come home to a clean place. My cousin Dawn is coming over Saturday morning before Strawberry Hill Races so I wanted it to be neat and clean. I love using the Swiffer dust stuff. It smells so good. I was using the Pledge dust wipes but they always dried out even after sealing them good in the container so I made the switch.

Later on this afternoon I'm going to Walmart aka Wally World and pick up a few things for the next few days. I need to get a chair and a cooler. I also need to get some snacks and drinks. I might get a few hanging baskets for my front porch since I got my grass cut. I just want some pretty flowers to make it look nice and spring-like.I love flowers but do not have a green thumb whatsoever. When I get back I'll go to Mom/Dad's and help mom make this Sausage Bread and then I'll come back and finish burning my Cd's and figure out what to wear tomorrow!!!I'm so excited to be going to the mud bog and hang with my peeps. I'll take a few pics and be sure to post them later tomorrow night.Any big plans for Easter?

  1. Hi Hope
Your Aunt Carmen is on of my greatest friends here in Northwest Arkansas and she shared your blog address with me. I have a blog myself, however I have not posted in about 5 weeks. I am glad you like the Swiffer item as I work for Procter & Gamble and we make that item. Also, I am going to get that book you posted about...it looks good.

  2. Hey Hopie! You are such a social butterfly! Say hello to "Trevor" at the Horse Races . . . he will probably be driving the bemmer . . . Trev is such a doll!! Ha-ha!

We have tomorrow 4/10 off for Good Friday (I told my boss we have the day off because it is Dad's birthday and that makes it a National Holiday!). At 7:00 Friday night we have a Good Friday Service at Church . . . it is humbling to think and know Jesus died for ALL of us. And the love from our heavenly Father grows and grows every day. We know he also had a sense of humor because . . . well just look at us and how different we are!

Saturday we have rehearsal for our Sunday Easter Services. Then Sunday we have Worship services at 8:30 and 10:30 with a brunch in between. I am having Easter dinner with my dear sweet friend Cheryl and her family along with our Music Minister and his family.

Oh yeah . . . I will be cooking a turkey breast and corn pudding for a family at church who is supposed to have surgery this week. I am taking corn pudding and deviled eggs to Cheryl's and I need to make a breakfast casserole (Mom's recipe) for the brunch on Sunday morning at church.

Notice I did not mention cleaning any where . . . I wish I had your organsization and drive but cleaning is not one of my favorite things. But I have been so blessed and need to take better care of what had been provided for me.

That sums up the next few days. BTW: have you read "The Shack" yet? I laughed, cried, was in awe, etc with the book. It was a little slow at the beginning but once you get into it, it is hard to put it down. I will have to check out the book your mentioned.

Happy Easter and have a fun, safe weekend! I love you.
