Busy as a Bee

Sunday was a beautiful day. I went and ate at my Grandparents house and then went to my cousin Brett's house and hung out with him and his wife Penny. Penny's brother and his wife-who also happens to be a cousin of my mine came over and we listened to music and played cards. I'm not much of a card player but I learned how to play Spades and we played an old time favorite......UNO!!! We all had a great time and talked about the events of the weekend.

The Easter Bunny came to see me!!!I got a Walmart gift card, candy and a Hannah Montana card that sings!!!I love Miley. She is so cute and some of her songs are pretty cool. You can make fun of me if you want, but I know there are some closet Miley fans out there!!!

Last night I spent the night at the hospital with my Uncle. He had a hip replacement yesterday and we thought it would be better if someone stayed with him. His is doing very well but just restless because he is not use to staying in one spot. He usually plays on 2 softball teams and is very active. He couldn't play last year because of his hip and then he finally decided to have something done about it. We all know he is going to feel so much better. They actually had him sitting in a chair today and did some physical therapy exercises. He is just very tired. If you don't know....you don't get any rest in a hospital. They came in every 2 hours to take vitals and then had to do full blood panels and then when that wasn't going on either the pain pump or his IV was beeping/alarming. His doctor came in after 7 and then the phone started ringing. Hopefully he can get some rest today. I'm so glad he had the surgery. He should have had it earlier but was afraid he was going to miss something during hunting season......men.

Anyway this weekend looks to busy again and we are supposed to have nice weather!
