Happy Mother's Day.......

Here is a pic of my mom and I. I just love her sunglasses. Can't go wrong with a pair of RayBan's. Whoever picked those out must have good taste.......oh wait that would be me:)

What is a mother?

A mother is someone who not only takes care of your clothes,meals,entertainment and bakes cupcakes for your birthday. A mother is someone who is there for you no matter what you do. She is someone you can call at 3 am because you can't sleep. A mother is someone who can look at you and tell something is wrong, you don't have to say a word she just knows. She is the woman that gave birth to you.

There also is another type of mother. That is those of us who want to be mothers. That also includes those of us who take care of others. A "mother hen" so to speak. We want to give birth to a child, but in the mean time we help take care of our loved ones. We nurture them and pick them up when they are sad or when they fall. It's an unconditional love you that you either have or you don't have. Not everyone is blessed with this trait but we know if we have it or not. I know I have it. When one of my friends kids get hurt, I act like it's my child. I'm there comforting them and crying just like it was my son or daughter. We do everything in our power to help them and their family. So while I'm not a "mother" yet, I am in another way. So today is a day for me too!!!
