I'm new to this blogging world. I've seen a few others and thought it was quite interesting. I really don't have much to blog about but will try my best to make it interesting. I love spending time on Myspace and Facebook and have found reading others blogs can be addicting as well. I love reading other peoples journeys thru every day life.
I am currently unemployed but am looking for a job while taking classes so I can go to Nursing School. I have worked in the medical field for 11 years. During that time I worked in the Operating Room for a Plastic Surgeon. It was very interesting and fun but also demanding. That is when I found out my love for anything medical....I love it all from wound care to patients with upset stomachs. The bloodier it is the more I like it. I have always been fascinated with DNA and Forensics. I have been doing research online and found out they are offering a Forensic Nursing License. That may be a route I will choose but I first just want to be a RN:)It can be frustrating going to school especially since it's been so long since I had to do homework. I am very disciplined but it's still hard but will be so worth it in the end.

- I am a country girl who takes pride in her Native American Heritage. I have great family and friends. I love everything about the country from the small town feel to going to tractor pulls,the dragstrip and mud bogs. I also love sports. I love UVA sports, Pittsburgh Steelers, Elliott Sadler and the NY Yankees. I love all sports but football is my favorite and yes I actually like to watch Sportscenter:) I am fulfilling one of my dreams and am in Nursing School.It's been a tough road to get here but I am so excited and know this will be period of growth both personally and professionally. Way to go Hopie! You can include information about the testimony last week for our Federal Recognition Bill. The video was interesting to watch again. Darren has even watched it and he wants me to share the link with Fred! It is our version of "reality TV"!
